@CarrotCakeKiwi @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com No, I don’t think each country has a separate "real" God, I see it as one truth expressed in different ways. A truly universal God wouldn’t be limited to one doctrine/tradition. Claiming only the Trinity is true is a belief within Christianity, not a universally established fact.

@cosmicspacevoid @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Do you seriously believe each country or people have their own real God? The christian triune God is the only true on. Yes, jesus came for his people as proficised but now we are all saved thanks to him. The world isn't like RoR.

@ogxfrvnk @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Dude, it’s their own scripture in the first place. Christianity later builds on and reinterprets it. It’s not that Jews are rejecting something original to them. Also i don't think jesus the Jewish rabbi matters more than theirs creator God itself. Also, Jesus himself was a jew.

@cosmicspacevoid @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Jews dont believe Jesus is the messiah they rejected that they only believe in the Old Testament , thats why they got him prosecuted by the romans.

@CarrotCakeKiwi @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com So quoting John 3:18 and turning it into "believe or be damned" is exactly the problem, you’re taking one verse and reading later theology into it. That’s the verbatim fallacy. condemnation there is: a present moral state (living in darkness) not a future eternal hell sentence.

@CarrotCakeKiwi @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Sorry, but Jesus never taught the Trinity, inherited sin from Adam/the later salvation theology built around him, those ideas develop later, through Paul. What you actually see is a Jewish teacher upholding the Law, the Prophets, and the worship of Yahweh within that framework..

@CarrotCakeKiwi @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com No, I don’t think people outside the Middle Eastern need to worship the Jewish God/ Jesus. Jesus lived & taught inside a specific Jewish framework, he has nothing to do with the rest of the world. I think People outside that framework should connect to their own heritage & God.

@cosmicspacevoid @PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Jesus accepted the name rabbi because he was their teacher, however, he didn't approve of people using it as a title for authority or superiority. I doubt your "research" was very thorough. Do you think jesus being a jew is bad or? We would worship him no matter his ethnicity.

@KingHeatray @RT_com Then why are you still following a Jewish rabbi? Jesus himself called non-Jews "dogs" & told his followers not to go among the Gentiles. The reality is, he never abolished, transformed, or ended the old laws those reinterpretations came later through Greco-Roman influences.

They call us Goyim, cattle. They spit on Christians in Israel. They say Jesus Christ is spending eternity in boiling excrement. Sounds like hatred to me. Judaism is discontinued because Christianity is TRUE, and Christianity completed their religion. THE Messiah came and they rejected him. They are still waiting for their Messiah to come, who in description and in their prophecy is identical to the anti-Christ. Do you understand?

@Drt42Tenney @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit" This is actually a quote from Hebrew Bible (Psalm 31:5). It’s a prayer said at the moment of death. It's not about transferring life energy. Also, crucifixion + prior torture can cause quicker death. He was still executed by Romans.

@cosmicspacevoid @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA 2/2 After what He stated on the cross.. “Father into thy hands I commend my Spirit” He gave his life energy or virtue out to others..& died very early…crucifixion is a long drawn out process of torture..where life is intentionally preserved for max suffering.. @KingHeatray @RT_com Jesus never said Judaism is discontinued ,he actually says he didn’t come to abolish the Law. Jewish identity has continued historically, and rejecting Christian beliefs isn’t "hatred," it’s just disagreement. Judaism follows the original meaning of Messiah as a human leader.

The Jewish religion was biblically discontinued after Jesus Christ. Those that exist today are not the same as the ancient Israelites. They hate Him and us. They say He is burning in hell. “Judeo-Christian” implies that we are morally aligned, we are not. They reject Christ and everything he stands for.

@PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Also, My ethnicity is irrelevant here. I’ve studied both Christianity and Judaism, and what the Bible shows is Jesus as a Jewish rabbi, teaching, interpreting, and debating the Torah within a Jewish context.

@cosmicspacevoid @Smartinez_5 @RT_com then why did Jesus ask the jews "how can you escape damnation?" If your ideology is correct, jews get special treatment. In the New Testament, Jesus is kinder to the Roman occupiers at the time than the jewish leaders. Also you're Indian, not helping your case.

@PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Also, word used is Gehenna: a symbolic term in Jewish teaching associated with judgment, not the eternal torture. So again, it's a rhetorical warning language, not a conversion slogan. Even in this passage: he doesn’t say “become Christians”, he condemns behavior, not identity.

@PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com In Gospel of Matthew 23:33, Jesus says this to specific groups : scribes & Pharisees (religious leaders). Context is series of "woes" against hypocrisy, corruption, misuse of authority This is intra-Jewish criticism. It is not: a statement about all Jew....

@cosmicspacevoid @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA Prophesied expressions of profound virtue made Moses a prophet. Same to be said of Yeshua? He fulfilled these & delivered men & women from death…the enemy of life Genesis 49:10 Deuteronomy 18:15, 18–19 Isaiah 7:14 Isaiah 9:6–7 Micah 5:2 Zechariah 9:9 Psalm 22 Isaiah 53

@PenitentPond @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Hebrews isn’t Jesus speaking, it’s a later theological interpretation. And Jesus never said "become Christians or be damned" that concept didn’t even exist in his time. You’re projecting later theology back onto him, not quoting his actual jewish teaching or context.

@cosmicspacevoid @Smartinez_5 @RT_com Hebrews 8:13 is wrong? 99% of Christian history (dispensationalism is a very new invention) was wrong? Jesus was wrong when he told the jews they can't escape damnation if they refuse to become Christians?

@Drt42Tenney @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA Dude, “I lay down my life” means he accepted his fate, not that no one killed him. The same Gospel clearly shows he was executed by Romans under Pilate. It’s theological language about willingness, not a denial of who carried out the crucifixion.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.” (v.17–18) Jesus wasn’t killed by the Jews which is a load of 💩

@Drt42Tenney @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA Sheep here are the jews. Also, “Lay down my life” just means giving up one’s life, not some vague “life energy.” It’s a shepherd metaphor about self-sacrifice, not a doctrine of dying for sins. The text never even mentions sin here you’re reading later theology (Paul's) into it.

@cosmicspacevoid @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA 2/2 He didn’t say die.. but that he would give his life energy.. John 10:11, 15, 17–18 KJV “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (v.11) “…even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.” (v.15)

@Drt42Tenney @stephensacks @barnes_law @RoadWarriorsUSA Matthew 5:17 means: Jesus is affirming the authority of the Torah, rejecting accusations of misinterpretation, claiming to teach its true & fullest meaning. He is not ending it, replacing it /creating a new system. So it's an intra-Jewish discussion of jesus the Jewish teacher.
