We went over to the science labs today to take part in a workshop from @ZooLabUK
It was a great way to round off our learning about tropical rainforests! We looked at animals from different layers of the rainforest and discussed how they have adapted to live there.
Positive vibes on a Wednesday morning. A fruity feast of apples, watermelon, raspberries and pineapple! With fruit juices and ‘Brave’ by Sara Barellies, ‘Keep your head up’ by Andy Grammer and ‘Fight song’ by Rachel Platten in the background.
Day one - done ✅
Year 6 gave their all to their first paper today! Fuelled by bananas, pineapple and fruit juice, and then a lovely break in the sunshine afterwards!

Today we investigated chemical changes that bubble and give off gas. We used balloons to help us compare how much gas was given off in relation to how much sodium bicarbonate was added to our vinegar.
World book day 2024! We had a busy day taking part in @Literacy_Trust Booky and Footy quiz, followed by illustrating some of our favourite fictional places! At the end of the day we had a surprise visit from Mr Guise who came to read the start of our next class book to us!
Today in science we built on our understanding of refraction from last week and looked at how light is built up from a spectrum of colours. We investigated mixing colours and observing the changes then we walked through the rainbow! 🌈
