57. A Nurse’s Tale By Ola Awonubi Ola Awonubi did a good job of bringing the story of a real life heroin (Princess Adenrele Ademola or Omo-Oba Adenrele Ademola - born 1916) to us through the pages of this book.

2026: Books 📚 I’ve read this year. 1. A New Year - Leila Aboulela When Suad’s husband dies suddenly, she first relies on her children to fill the absence, but she soon realises that she must come to terms with her new reality and build a new life for herself. Rating: 4.5/5

#Books 📚 I’ve read in 2025 1. The Parlour Wife - @folushh “She wanted so much more, a way to stop being the reserved twin, the wallflower, the one who cared more about what other people thought than her own ideas.” An amazing start to my reading year👌🏾 Review coming soon✨

24. The Marriage Monitoring Aunties Association - @createandwrite Spent my weekend listening to this absolutely brilliant book. Highly recommend. 50-year-old Sade is a successful woman who enjoys her job and is happy with her life. She is also single and her mum, sister, friends and the MMAA won’t give her a break with their comments, prayers and interventions. Big up to @DianaYekinni for the flawless narration 💯
