Had to disagree but every region in Nigeria has suffered this. There were times only northern people were heading Nigeria top organisation like the top DG’s job from immigration, ports, and most major conglomerates. The eastern part of Nigeria has been begging for a seaport so that our business people do not have to travel on dangerous routes to transport their business and the northern leadership who were in charge for many years of their leadership reign were tone deaf to that cry. There is also the Niger Delta region whose resources are being used to manage and fund Nigeria has been completely ignored in the areas of development and infrastructures. The North who had opportunities to turn their region into world class region in terms of development and growth imported deadly religious nonsense just because an Ijaw man who they tagged Igbo cannot be Nigeria president.
