The world is full of voices with an agenda - to make you believe this way or invest that way or ignore this thing or support that movement. We need people to write transparently from the perspective of someone just trying to make sense of all the noise so that the process of weeding out the ideas can be observed. Not because everyone needs to be told how to think. But because we feel alone until we see someone else responding in a way that resonates. And also because none of us have the time to think through and examine EVERYTHING. We let so many ideas and declarations of fact pass by our mental sentries unchecked. We have no viable defense against the flood of information. But we can function as models of watchmen who call out the things that have slipped by and rearm the people with reasons to challenge what has gone unchallenged.

Some may trust in horses. Some may trust in chariots.

When you state this matter-of-factly without actual evidence other than Flynn's mytho-historical sleuthing, you're putting you're reputation on the line for a statement that has so many supportive threads that could be miscalculated . . . I don't understand why you wouldn't couch it in some language that gives you an out if false.

I am opposed to this War. This is not “America First.” When Congress reconvenes, I will work with @RepRoKhanna to force a Congressional vote on war with Iran. The Constitution requires a vote, and your Representative needs to be on record as opposing or supporting this war.
