The overall record of the teams the SeC beat here is currently .500(50-50). Kinda looks like the SEC played schools that aren’t that tough except for Michigan, Notre Dame and ASU. 7 of the 10 wins are against schools .500 or worse in the season.

@CF_Budge The riskiest time to play an FCS team is opening week before your team gels. Playing them in Nov is just a way to avoid a real challenge late in the season and rest before big games. Let them do it if they want but they should not be rewarded for it.

Something that I hope dies with the new scheduling model is SEC cupcake week. I know the SOS arguments that the SEC make to defend this, but you cannot undersell the massive advantage it gives a team to play a Nobody in the middle of November.
