@TWarPhilosopher The concept of Achilles and Patroclus being lovers wasn’t created by Miller you swine. It goes as far back as Plato and Aeschylus. Plato wrote about it in Symposium and Aeschylus wrote a play about it in 5th Century BCE.

Glad to see the Star Fox remake, but who else has been clucking for some new Star Wars Rogue Squadron?

What do y'all think of the new Star Fox game? I gotta say I like what I've seen of the gameplay, I'm not sure about the characters models in FMV and avatars 🤔, maybe they'll grow on me. Who else is gonna pick it up day one?

@RobertBlume8 @ghoulbasement Nah, no really. Just like how in Aronofsky’s Noah, I wasn’t bothered by his interpretation of having Biblical decayed skyscraper cities.
Or how in Braveheart how the Scots were wearing kilts well before they would’ve, or how in Disney’s Hercules…well everything.

Nolan is so funnily stupid sometimes - shoots "on location" for places that don't exist anymore, avoids CGI at all costs because of "realism" but couldn't care less about the historical realism of the costumes, sets or actors. His mind is an enigma.

These are supposed to be Laestrygonians according to Nolan. They were giant primitive ogres, believed to be descendants of Laestrygon, a son of Poseidon. Cannibals, ferocious, covered in leather piece of cloths. Why do they wear Medieval armours, almost futuristic??????????
