Yesterday marked my 2nd month of being on Estrogen! After 14 months of being ignored by doctors, pushed around waitlists, and constantly fighting for myself, I FINALLY started HRT! 🎉🎉🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🎉🎉 I'm going to document some of the changes in this 🧵

ANYWAY, I just realized that as of today (based on my texts because I always tell someone when I’m struggling) I’ve gone a full 2 weeks without any ideations 🥹 even with how hard last week was, I never once thought about not existing…this might be my longest streak in years 🥲

We review our sounds daily in different ways and this was one of their favourites. Ss say the sound to help Mme figure out what she’s holding. We learn quickly that we must say it correctly and add a word to help @AVPS_LDSB @LimestoneDSB #SoR #FSL #FrImm

Mme works with small groups targeting skills that need practice. Ss segment words with complex sounds using playdough. We write the letters for each sound using the Elkonin boxes. Finally we print the word using proper letter formation. @AVPS_LDSB @LimestoneDSB #SoR #FSL

Never forget that it's far cheaper to give unhoused folks a place to live than leave them on the streets to depend on a patchwork of emergency services.

Ontario is in trouble. ⬇️ From education to healthcare, we are failing our children. No amount of school catch-up payments or gas tax cuts can take our eyes off the emergency right in front of us. We should be investing in our schools & hospitals, & the people who work there.

Week #11 Math Challenge - 10+ Facts (leading into place value) ➡️Partner #1 - Flashes a double 10-frame ➡️Partner #2 - Builds a 10+ number sentence with cards & orally reads the sentence ➡️Partner #1 - Gives 👍 or “try again” ➡️(repeat until no 10-frames left & switch jobs)
