crazy how my entire surugaya wishlist has not come in stock for years ever since i made it (actually its not that crazy i dont even know how many copies ever existed of any of these albums)

browser tabs are the exception and yeah im sure this is possible in plenty of apps but it never feels consistently reliable to background an app and expect it to still be in that state some hours later

one of my least favourite things about phones is that despite the fact that the operating systems _are_ multitasking operating systems, it never ever feels like i can safely background something I'm doing in an app and come back to it some amount of hours later

@Venpris1 (asking genuinely cuz i haven't used it) can you build a kmp apk from outside of android studio w/ a relatively simple CLI setup i was screwing around w a flutter app the other day and it was pretty ez for me to just live in vscode then again I'm using windows

this 4 am thoughtdump happened because im annoyed at something that happened yesterday but i think there's something here for once cuz if i keep making these kinds of compromises it seems like nothing will ever change

i've been sitting at this spot for maybe 3? years now, with a lot of moments where i feel like it almost went the way i wanted. but i think the root of the problem is that I've made too many weird compromises for no reason lol currentjob is probably one of them

i think im still just trying to fulfill what various past versions of myself thought was Awesome (and they happen to all have been different types of nerds) annoying how much of it isn't in my control, but corporate life makes me forget that much of it actually is in my control
