Well, I finally got my call back 6 hours almost to the minute later. Credit where it’s due, the @AirCanada agent on the phone was wonderful. She was helpful, friendly, and efficient. Thank you to Katherine!

@AirCanada I have now been waiting over 5 hours for a call back and all I want to do is change a flight to an earlier day. Except that I get a “technical error” message when I try to do it online after I choose the flight. How can a 5+ hour wait be remotely acceptable?

@GarethWheeler Questions about him are legit, though. I’m interested in how he views our youth programs, how he’s going to get talent identified from coast to coast. His time with the WNT/XNT showed he lacked in that. Will this job have him better positioned to get that talent into camps?

@AlliAlliG It’s one of those things that only the NFL does. I think it has something to do with the Rooney Rule, where all teams must interview at least 1 ethnic minority candidate for any GM or head coach positions. I could be wrong, but I think it’s why it happens.

Camp Poutine is a GO 🇨🇦✅ #CANMNT Squad Named for January: Canada’s “Road to 2026” Begins with Training Camp and Match v. Guatemala Due to the January camp falling outside an official FIFA window and in recognition of both player and club needs ahead of their respective pre-seasons, the coaching staff worked closely with all clubs on squad selections. Most Europe-based players were not available due to their participation in active club competitions. Canada will play an international match against Guatemala at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on 17 January at 19:00 Pacific Time. The match will be classified as a Tier 1 international fixture and therefore will count toward the FIFA Men’s World Rankings.

@RedRiverRising2 What is $26,000 going to do here? I don’t understand the concept. Is this something that’s being pushed by Red River Rising? This seems like an ill thought out, knee jerk reaction to the news of last week, which also isn’t helpful because it’s not realistic.
