Receiving a condolence card from our veterinary clinic, signed by every member of their team, truly meant the world. Such a small gesture, but it shows how much they genuinely care. Thank you for honoring Barry with such kindness. 🐾🤍

I also want to apologize for not responding at the time. I read every message, but I just couldn’t bring myself to reply then. Losing him was harder than I expected, and I needed a little time. Please know your support was felt and deeply appreciated. 🤍🐾

For me, the adventure began more than six years ago now. I had decided to stop dyeing my hair, to go back to my natural color, and I had a hunch to share it on social media without really knowing if anyone would see my posts, and for me, it didn’t really matter at that moment.

I’d like to explain why I’m posting here. After hearing some less-than-flattering comments about those who feel the “need to show off” on social media, I feel the need to clarify a few points. We all have our own reasons for being on social media.

John Brodie, an NFL MVP for the San Francisco 49ers who later won on PGA TOUR Champions, died Friday at age 90. Brodie grew up in California and played collegiate football and golf at Stanford, where he sat out spring football drills due to golf commitments. He was selected third in the 1957 NFL Draft by the 49ers and played 17 seasons, all for San Francisco. He was a three-time NFL passing yards leader, 1970 NFL Most Valuable Player, and had his No. 12 retired by the team. Then came his second act. Brodie made 230 starts on PGA TOUR Champions between 1985 and 1998, recording 12 top-10 finishes including a victory at the 1991 Security Pacific Senior Classic, where he defeated George Archer and Chi Chi Rodriguez in a playoff. After tapping in for the win, he was joined by his wife and daughter for a joyous post-round interview. “Emotion is something that I can’t call back on and get the same feeling,” Brodie said after his PGA TOUR Champions victory. “I feel just as good as I can possibly feel right now. How time flies.

My mom was knitting beautiful wool flowers- a bride even asked to have some for her wedding. It was a quiet year filled with family love and flowers 🌹 ❤️ My hair was burnt out by the dyes.🫨 I was much thinner but still thought I was too big 🙄

2016 ✨ The year was 2016, and I was working full-time and more, owning and growing our small family business. My mom and dad were still with us. All the family would gather at the flower shop and help.
