well thats fucking it - anthropic has officially replaced software engineers. claude is now a 24 hr autonomous coding agent. claude can now operate your entire computer and CLAUDE CODE = end-to-end software engineering: - claude writes the code for you - then literally opens the app it coded - clicks through the entire app and find bugs - then fixes the bugs and improves the app in hours. previously claude generated code, you run it and give claude feedback. thats completely gone now. all in a continuous loop without leaving your terminal 😂 we're barely through monday. well done lol

I use Figma and Claude, as a graphic designer, almost daily and I still fail to see the added value here. The video isn’t too clear either, do the components need to live in the same file, is it able to read documentation on spacing etc.. I guess I’ll need to see some use cases before dying into this one

I rarely comment or voice my opinions but I felt compelled to as I wholeheartedly relate to this, Mo. Using AI to automate (be it hard or repetitive) tasks doesn't equal freeing up time so you can enjoy life in the meantime while it's either executing in the background, or accomplished something in an hour or so that would usually take up a week or even longer. In my case, and I'm sure in yours as well, it means you can jump on the next big thing more quickly as I also have a backlog of projects that I just can't wait to get started with! I'm curious how many people experience AI similarly, it's an exciting era for the creative mind that wants to bring ideas to life, but as you covered in the video, I also believe it's simultaneously frying up our brains as we as humans are just not used to move at this pace.

I am not sure if other developers feel like this. But I feel kinda depressed. Like everyone else, I have been using Claude code (for a while, it’s not a recent thing lol). And it’s incredible. I have never found coding more fun. The stuff you can do and the speed you can do it at now. Is absolutely insane. And I’m using it to ship a lot. And solve customer problems faster. So all around it’s a win. But at the same time. The skill I spent 10,000s of hours getting good at. Programming. The thing I spent most of my life getting good at. Is becoming a full commodity extremely quickly. As much fun as it is. And as much as I like using the tools. There’s something disheartening about the thing you spent most of your life getting good at. Now being mostly useless.
