i made it. but here's what you don't see: since 2016, i've been grinding. no vc checks. no followers. no handshakes. just charts, rugs, and sleepless nights. i’ve lost more than i can count. i’ve been called a gambler, a clown, a dreamer. but i kept showing up. some days i had nothing left but conviction. other days i had -90% bags and a discord full of ghosts. i’ve borrowed, sold, begged, flipped, lost, flipped again. i’ve stared at wallets like they were gods. i’ve prayed for 2x just to break even. i’ve sold bottoms i swore i’d never touch. i’ve watched coins i believed in die in silence. i’ve dmed founders who ghosted. i’ve burned bridges chasing exits. there were days i woke up with 4 figures in my account. and still logged in like it was the first day of the bull. and then... it started to click. one runner. one moment. one season. suddenly, i wasn’t broke anymore. but it didn’t feel how i thought it would. i bought my dad a car. gave him thousands back for all the years i couldn’t show up. then i bought myself a decent one. not the best. just something clean. i kept most of it quiet. no one really knows how much i made irl. because even now, after all the wins… some mornings, i wake up and feel like i lost something. reality maybe. or identity. or time. crypto gives fast. but it also takes pieces of you. you win the money. but it’s hard to feel like a person again. this isn’t a thread for pity. or flex. this is just a reminder: some of us really lived this. and some of us are still lost in it. if that’s you, you’re not alone. i’ve been there. i’ve been the loser. i’ve been the winner. but the truth is—i was just me. keep trying. maybe this leg up will create new winners. maybe someone out there will change their life.
