The Fusaka upgrade is almost here. PeerDAS (EIP-7594) is one of the key features helping Ethereum securely scale. It unlocks up to 8x data throughput. For rollups, this means cheaper blob fees and more space to grow.

Today I met @lou3ee — the magician behind the @ethdotorg videos — and he asked me a simple but powerful question: How did you meet @ethereum? My story isn’t glamorous. I discovered Ethereum while stuck in Barcelona during COVID. I had lost my job, my work permit, and had no flights to go back home. Crypto became my only source of income. At a moment when I couldn’t work and even my basic rights were questioned, Ethereum gave me freedom. That’s what pushed me to return to Argentina and dedicate myself to growing the ecosystem in my region. It’s not a fun story — it’s the reality many people face when they can’t access formal work or traditional finance. But it’s honest, and it’s why I care so deeply about localism and bringing Ethereum to smaller cities. Grateful to @lou3ee and @ethereumfndn for giving me the space, as a @EFDevcon scholar, to share this — and to my friend @matut_eth, who somehow keeps showing up to capture these special moments across Rio, Patagonia, and now Buenos Aires 🫶
