A limited edition 40th anniversary of Joy Division's 'Closer' is being released on crystal clear vinyl on Friday. Originally released in July 1980 on Factory Records, the album reached number 6 in the UK Charts.

The Factory name originally came from a club night at The Russell Club which was launched by Alan Erasmus, Tony Wilson and helped by promoter Alan Wise. 🏭
