FACT 25 - Joy Division 'Closer' Recorded at Pink Floyd’s studio - Britannia Row, the album has a more mature sound than Unknown Pleasures and a lyrical, emotional depth, that is easy to acknowledge now with hindsight of what would unfold following the completion of the album.

A limited edition 40th anniversary of Joy Division's 'Closer' is being released on crystal clear vinyl on Friday. Originally released in July 1980 on Factory Records, the album reached number 6 in the UK Charts.
