@lomaxx I took my iPhone X into the water when I went snorkeling in Thailand 18 months ago , without a cover or anything and it was perfectly fine. Took underwater pics/vids of fish and everything.

My iPhone X took a little swim last week while on holidays and 2 things stand out - the water resistance is pretty garbage considering it didn’t even get fully submerged and was in the water for about 10 seconds.
