Wright’s @flwunitytemple is an architectural masterpiece—one of the earliest public buildings in the US to feature exposed concrete + last surviving building from Wright’s Prairie Period—#UnityTemple is considered among the most innovative & imaginative structures of the 20th c.

On July 7, 2019—@flwunitytemple was one of eight #FrankLloydWright buildings to be inscribed as a @UNESCO World Heritage site: The 20th Century Architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.

#UnityTemple's significance as a World Heritage site lies in Wright's inventive use of concrete as a primary building material, thus establishing @flwunitytemple as an early experiment and masterpiece of modern architecture.
