Bangladeshi Islamist MP issues anti-BJP statement! Nahid Islam, MP, the head of the anti-India 'National Citizen Party (NCP)' stated, persecution of religious minority groups, including Muslims will begin following the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during West Bengal assembly elections. He said, "Minorities in West Bengal are not safe now". Nahid Islam believes that in such a situation, Bangladesh's responsibility has increased further, and it must ensure and secure the coexistence of Hindus, Muslims and other religions in the country. The National Citizen Party, founded under direct patronization of Muhammad Yunus is a part of the Jamaat-e-Islami led coalition. Earlier, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Muhammad Nurul Huda through a video statement urged Mamata Banerjee to "declare war against Delhi" and pronounce West Bengal as an "independent state" following her election defeat. Huda further said, "17 crore Muslims of Bangladesh" would stand with Mamata if such a move was taken.

Vande Mataram is an ode to a goddess. It cannot be treated on par with the national anthem. Jana Gana Mana celebrates India and its people, not a particular religion. Religion ≠ nation. The man who wrote Vande Mataram was sympathetic to the British Raj and despised Muslims. Netaji Bose, Gandhi, Nehru, and Tagore all rejected it.
The Preamble to the Constitution of India begins with “We, the People” — not “Bharat Maa”. It promises “liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship”. The very first provision of the Constitution, Article 1, describes “India, that is Bharat” as a Union of States.
In the Constituent Assembly, some members wanted the Preamble to begin in the name of a goddess; they specifically invoked Vande Mataram. Others wanted it to begin “In the name of God” and to replace “its citizens” with “her citizens”. All these amendments were defeated.
India, that is Bharat, is its people. The nation is not a goddess; it does not run in the name of a god or goddess, and it does not belong to one god or goddess.

मैं कभी सोच भी नहीं सकता था कि पहाड़ जैसे शांत और सरल समाज में भी कोई इस हद तक राजनीतिक षड्यंत्र रच सकता है। अगर किसी बेटी का इस्तेमाल अपनी निजी या राजनीतिक रंजिश निकालने के लिए किया गया है, तो यह सिर्फ कानून नहीं बल्कि पूरे समाज और इंसानियत के खिलाफ अपराध है। क्योंकि झूठे आरोप न सिर्फ निर्दोष लोगों की जिंदगी बर्बाद करते हैं, बल्कि असली पीड़िताओं की लड़ाई को भी कमजोर करते हैं। सच सामने आना चाहिए और न्याय हर हाल में होना चाहिए। चंपावत पुलिस की तरफ़ से यह दावा किया गया है कि शुरुआती दुष्कर्म के आरोपों की जांच में कथित साजिश और बदले की भावना का एंगल सामने आया है। पुलिस का कहना है कि 1-मेडिकल जांच में जबरदस्ती या संघर्ष के स्पष्ट संकेत नहीं मिले। 2-CCTV, CDR और तकनीकी साक्ष्यों से नामजद आरोपियों की मौजूदगी घटनास्थल पर नहीं पाई गई। 3-पीड़िता अपने दोस्त के साथ अपनी इच्छा से विवाह समारोह में गई थी। 4-कमल रावत और पीड़िता, उसकी महिला मित्र के बीच लगातार संपर्क पाया गया। 5- SIT को कुछ गवाहों के बयान तकनीकी साक्ष्यों से मेल खाते नहीं मिले। पुलिस का दावा है कि बदले की भावना से नाबालिग को बहला-फुसलाकर कथित षड्यंत्र रचा गया। साथ ही पुलिस ने यह भी कहा है कि फॉरेंसिक और डिजिटल जांच अभी जारी है और अगर आरोप भ्रामक पाए जाते हैं तो कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। @Champawatpolice
