Chris loved to read. He would tell me how books could take him to another place & time, but also teach him to live a better life in the present. These books were found in Bus 142 after Chris’s passing, along with his glasses. What books & authors have inspired you? ~ Carine

I would like to introduce Erik Halfacre, one of the team members here at Friends of Bus 142. Erik was a guide in Alaska and now lives in Washington where he leads a trail crew for the WA Dept of Natural Resources. Erik guided my group to the bus in 2014. - Carine McCandless
