One of my problems with Tsurugi's writing is this, at the start of the series despite his motives he's still hurt a shit ton of people and while it makes sense for Tenma to accept him with open arms bc he's the reason the redemption happens in the first place, the others? Nah.

I'm a fan of redemption arcs, but redemption without consequence is boring and toxic. You shouldn't be able to gain every relationship back or get it back like a prize. Trying to be better no matter what happens is such a healthier story.
