Un hombre de 30 años llamado Theerachot Pharot irrumpió armado en la vivienda de su ex esposa Parinchaya en Ayutthaya el 5 de octubre de 2025 con la intención de reconciliarse. La situación escaló a tiroteo con su ex suegro Bancha Phusathong de 60 años. El agresor disparó una vez antes de que su pistola se trabara el suegro respondió y lo hirió pero el intruso tomó unas tijeras y lo apuñaló en el cuello causándole la muerte inmediata. El video de las cámaras de seguridad muestra a la ex esposa y su hija pequeña corriendo y gritando en medio del caos. El sospechoso herido de bala colapsó afuera y fue detenido por la policía.
