Win-Win.
Bulls win by being forced to actually do the right thing and hire a new Front Office that can pick their own coach.
Billy wins by no longer having to be associated with the trash fire that is the Bulls ownership.

The NBA mourns the passing of Oscar Schmidt (1958-2026). The Brazilian basketball legend debuted for Brazil at 19 in 1977 and played in every Olympics from 1980 to 1996. Oscar’s the all-time leading scorer in Olympic history with more than 1,000 points and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. We extend our deepest condolences to the Schmidt family.

Baylor Scheierman & John Tonje are the second pair of Nebraska HS graduates to play for the same NBA team in a regular season game, per my research.
The first pair: Rich King (Omaha Burke) & Bart Kofoed (Omaha Westside) who both played for Seattle in the 1991-92 NBA season.

Nebraska HS graduates — Baylor Scheierman (Aurora) and John Tonje (Omaha Central) — combined to score 43 points for the Boston Celtics tonight. Scheierman led all scorers with a career high 30, and both players were part of Boston’s closing lineup.
