@rs_3702 Also to point out that all these players were playing to 50 over cricket during the county season so they were better conditioned to the demands on the longer OD game. Get rid of the Hundred, suddenly you'll find the gems & quality that we have been missing

@WG_RumblePants As well as the pointless competition of the Hundred, I believe that the ECB has lost the right to control its players. Everyone is playing T20 franchise and not preparing mentally or physically for the 4 day format of the game

@ipucc_ It might be. Suspect it may be more to do with the changing player mindset, lack of solid technical foundation and the modern attention span deficit. But what do I know? That’s just my theory.
