Embracing new challenges, I embarked on a journey to redefine my purpose, leaving behind two decades of life and career in the United States in 2021. The driving force behind this monumental decision was my unwavering dream: to establish a world-class healthcare facility, Aria Institute of Medical Sciences, in Quetta, my hometown . A place where individuals wouldn't have to endure a 600-kilometer journey for adequate medical care, a journey my own mother once undertook. As we stand on the brink of ushering in a new era of patient care, I've made the heartfelt choice to voluntarily step down from my current role as COO at NICVD. These past years have been a transformative odyssey, shaping me both personally and professionally. I take immense pride in the accomplishments we've achieved together : -Constructing a robust organizational framework, replete with key managerial appointments. I delegated substantial authority to other leaders, reducing the COO's central role. -Infusing a culture of accountability, professionalism, and servant leadership. I maintained an open-door policy, extending an invitation to doctors, nurses, and auxiliary staff. Countless challenges were tackled at the grassroots level, and conflicts found resolution. -With a lean marketing team of only four, we managed to transform NICVD's image, which had previously been tarnished by controversies. NICVD's accomplishments and services were prominently showcased across various platforms. -By cultivating a positive public image, we channeled efforts towards soliciting public donations. Remarkably, donations soared to unprecedented heights within a single year. -I offered unwavering support to numerous US-trained physicians who chose to relinquish their American lives in favor of serving their local community. Although my tenure spanned merely 15 months , I hold my head high knowing that NICVD has been steered onto the right trajectory. The potential of this institution is boundless, owing to the exceptional individuals who comprise its workforce. I foresee nothing but a radiant future for NICVD, guided by capable hands. May blessings abound.
