What a day 🎥💙. Three months to the day in the job at Rangers. Three signings ✍🏻✅.

Played my first club night since before Covid on Wednesday. An unexpected person turned up: the man who caused my mental health issues. He created many problems for me as an employee, and later, as a business owner, he tried to compete with me and failed. Over the years, I've heard him say and seen him do really shitty and dodgy things to myself and others. Even after I left, I kept hearing about his inexplicable behaviour. For a long time, I struggled with anxiety whenever I knew he'd be at tournaments or events. Even now, answering phone calls can be difficult because of him. When I started doing well and getting events, he often showed up. Once, he apologised, but I was so busy I brushed it off without meaning to and felt bad afterwards. I wasn't sure how much I believed it anyway; I just wanted to forget everything. Even when he stopped competing and tried passing me business, I still felt he never faced consequences for the harm he'd caused me and countless others. He had a life most would envy: financially comfortable, a big custom-built house, family. But on Wednesday, I met a man who, through lying, deceiving, bullying, defrauding, and vilifying people, had lost everything. I don't celebrate that. What I take from it is that he now respects what I do and what I've achieved. I no longer fear being near him, despite the ongoing issues he caused. Things really do come back around and can hit hard. Just put some good into the world and make a positive impact on people!
