Let me never stop thanking God, because that streaming space is actually demonic and I know I would still be stuck there today, miserable and lost, if it wasn't for him.

Knowing God personally is everything. I grew up listening to my Abuela always talking about Jesus like a best friend she talked to on the phone everyday. She would say things like “God knows me!” with so much esteem to convince me things would be ok. She loved to tell me stories of times she turned to God. She would tell me what she said to him, how she prayed, and how he took care of it “because God LOOOOVES me!” Through the Spanglish, I could understand what she was saying but I never actually understood feeling that way until recently. I’ve been on my journey with Christ, growing in my spirit for a year now. My path has been anything but straightforward and steady. I cannot stress enough how much this world does not want you to know God for yourself. For decades I blindly contributed to everything I was seeing and complaining was wrong with the world, imagining that because I wanted to do ‘good’ and I wanted to be a ‘good’ person, that I was, but I wasn’t -and I don’t mean that in a “I’m human” we are all flawed, kind of way. I mean I did not know how much I did not know what ‘good’ really was, and because of that, I wasn’t coming anywhere close to being it. What I knew was a selfish, self-determined, self-affirming idea of what good is, completely unaware of where that feeling to be good and do good comes from, let alone begin to understand what it was that kept working against it. Even now that I know God, Im sure I still don’t have a full grasp on just how much my own best intentions contributed to the chaos of this world that preys on us all, but believe me when I say I know the entire time I was lost, God was with me, protecting me just like my Abuela say he would. God has known me this entire time, and I needed to know him for myself to have that trust and feel that love the way I saw my Abuela did, and I pray that for every single person. I pray God reveal himself to you and you never let yourself or anything else in this world distract you from him.

Pray for the friends and family of Renee Good. Pray for the friends and family of Alex Pretti. Pray for the friends and family of the officers involved. Pray for the protestors. Pray for ICE. If we can't do this, it says a lot about our hearts.

Despite being the person who has actually been wronged, I really don't find the constant focused hate directed at Destiny to be cathartic. I trusted and cared for this person a lot, anyone with eyes knows I did. I know I didn't deserve what happened to me, I know it was wrong, and I know I can't control what anyone says or does, but if I can have any influence on how you think about this please know the hate is not justice, and I hope you don't let anyone convince you there is any value or purpose in it.

Wishing you all a merry Christmas. I hope every single one of you feels the weight of your worries lifted. I hope life shows you kindness and forgiveness when you least deserve it, and I pray it warms your little grinch heart and reminds you how loved you are in this world.

I’ll never stop giving God the credit. Because there were moments I didn’t know how I was gonna make it out. Places so dark I couldn’t see my own way forward. And when I didn’t have the strength, God did. He reached down, picked me up, and reminded me You’re not done yet.

@hutchinson I don’t have a personal hatred for Hasan so it is actually pretty easy for me to not be performatively hyperbolic about Hasan’s flaws.

@itschaeiry As someone with a platform who does political advocacy, I really haven’t the first idea why you would say that he did the minimum.

It’s technically true that Hasan in fact talked about the presidential election and the candidates. Here’s what he had to say.

Pete Buttigieg being public about not supporting Mamdani is an interesting look. Pete went from the primaries in 2020 bragging that he was a Bernie Bro before it was cool, writing in 2000 that he admired Bernie Sanders for embracing socialism to refusing to congratulate Mamdani's victory.

I’m sorry, where is the lie between these clips? You understand no Christian Nationalist would support what he is saying here. They oppose interfaith marriage and religious freedom. Those are Progressive Christian values that you are smearing as Christian Nationalist beliefs simply because a Conservative said them.

This is such a wild thing to blast out to the public lol. You’re the Vice President of the country using your massive bullhorn to pressure your wife into adopting your faith. It doesn’t really matter whether the pressure was intentional or unintentional. Just weirdo stuff.

Is he not just being consistent and relaying the same order of events to chatters who insist on asking him the same question? What are you expecting to change if they are both egotistically stun locked? If the story changed or he started giving less info, I would say that sucks, but he doesnt do that. He's very upfront about what happened and why he believes it happened, so much so that the info you'd need to defend Kuihman being maligned as the cause without proof is included, even in this clip. If you dont want him to repeat his perspective, people should stop asking. If tomorrow he has perfect information and can know Kuihman did nothing to dox him in poking him for a debate, he would still repeat this exact understanding of why he cancelled that debate and remained distant from that space. Be thankful some people are willing to be very upfront about their ignorance.

The part he made up is that BE doxing him is somehow connected to kuihman he shouldn't be repeating baseless allegations

Oh come on. What in the world is personal about this question?… which you know is just a lighthearted play off an ogreboy tweet you quoted days ago. I think character really matters in politics, and for the same reason you deferred to your partner, if I knew you, I wouldn’t need to ask. Id be able to fill in the answer myself. Asking the question only works if you don’t know the person. Otherwise I’d say the question could then be pretty rude -like a passive aggressive insult. And all things considered, I am quite friendly. I haven’t even called you bald.
