@brian_love Yeah I think that's a good point. I do feel like a lot of the pricing models for SAAS type products and web apps feel very tired, and I'm also not a huge fan of "upgrade now for the awesome premium feature" that really is more of a core functionality than an add-on.

@jasonstringify Yes, sir. I do. My initial thought is not good. Like AWS, sign up for free and pay for the “value” you perceive/receive. If the cost justifies the benefit to the top line, then pay the bill. But, that’s not a good pricing model with little to medium elasticity of demand.

Going out on a limb here. I’ve been looking at lots of pricing pages this weekend. I think they’re wrong. They feel confusing and are information overload. I haven’t spent a dime on your service and I have no idea why I would want to pay anything, let alone a pro plan.

@sarah_edo I feel like I have a decent sense of what it is good at now. So I tend to wait for it to auto complete boilerplate and ignore it for more involved, detailed and focused things. I also have been feeding it the structure of my arrays or objects to quickly create maps or filters.

One thing about AI that’s on my mind: I love to code. I am interested in the productivity gains that AI promise, but I’m trying to figure out how to love this thing.

This is unnecessarily cruel, and will leave more cruelty in its wake as folks emulate this behavior. You can make tough business calls while showing humanity. Even if you believe this man cares about the future of humankind or whatever, what quality of life will people have?

Whether you’re staying or not, I advise deactivating Twitter OIDC on any third party sites. On other apps where you’ve used “sign in with Twitter,” consider switching to a different social login provider… preferably one that still has an InfoSec department.
