Look ima say this. Obviously the 2016 finals ended the debate. However, There was a point where at the bare minimum from 2015-16 prior to the NBA finals that people thought Steph was about to overtake LeBron as the best player and in some eyes he already had.

When Breanna Stewart got to UConn they hadn’t won a championship in 2 seasons, she won 4 straight championships and UConn didn’t win another one until 9 years later. I acknowledge she was on a great team but she did that. She made it happen for them
