@androofrench Not even new, this goes back all the way to 2015/16. The New Year drop offs really got going under QSF. There’s only been two exceptions I can really think of in 10 seasons: 18/19 but even that one had a delayed falling off, and 20/21.

I bang on about it, but #watfordfc form from Jan 1 onwards needs investigating. Since start of 22/23, we've won 33.3% of league fixtures. But if you look only at games at start of each new year, we win 25%. That's a deep-seated culture issue, not a coincidence.

In the Football League, #WatfordFC have only lost 2 of their last 16 visits to Ashton Gate.
