Day 05 of being in Ahmedabad. working on understanding human motion for physical AI in one of the largest electronic manufacturing units in India. controversial but true :: the business culture in Ahmedabad is more developed than in Bangalore or Delhi.

I saw the world cup with my 6 yo son for the first time as I have been encouraging him to watch sports. He was enjoying the game and kept saying India will win and was praising the fielders etc. After we won he was all excited and kept asking whats happening now etc. Then this CHAPRI did all the nonsense what children should not watch. Shlok was asking what is that white head guy doing with the girl, who is she etc? I changed the topic and shut the tv. International cricketers influence children. They should set high standards of behaviour like Sachin, Dravid, VVS etc. BCCI should ensure this is not repeated on the field.

Maybe controversial but 95% of growth managers in web3 have 00 knowledge about growth and marketing. It will take them like 10 years to learn the G of growth. What they know best :: quirky tweets with photos 😂

Further, i think this might be coz of the investment opportunities in India as well, as in developed countries its easier to raise funds if you have something innovative, and Indian investors' appetite for innovative ideas is very less.

To add , there is a big difference btw SF / Chinese / European startup founder and Indian startup founder mindset The former is looking for new exciting stuff. Most of the Indian founders are looking to not innovate but just use the base and make the same old thingy

Takeaways after meeting 100+ startups in AI Impact Submit : 1.⁠ ⁠Not a lot of people dare to develop anything innovative 2.⁠ ⁠⁠80% of the projects are doing: tele calling, chatbot support, hospital slip digitalisation 3.⁠ ⁠⁠No one is talking about anything new.

3rd catchup of the event : Divyansh, founder of Fraud Ai. He is working on recognition of patterns for fraudulent and scammy transactions and try to save users from getting scammed.

2nd AI meet :: Alpesh. Working with the Ministry of Railway and has helped to shape up the IRCTC website and documentation. understanding from him how Indian Railways is looking to integrate AI in their day to day process !

IRL catchup 1 for India AI Impact Submit. Our guy, Tejas K ( dayum, not connected on LN so can't tag ), has been developing multiple AI workflows and Agentic models to make life easier.. Looking to explore more around and understand stuff around BUIDLing.
