Don't fall for WORK-LIFE Balance.
Recently I was not working, exercising and was not active on Twitter for around 5 DAYS. I expected less stress, more mental peace, “me time” [eww gay af].
To Be Honest, NON OF THAT HAPPENED. I was constantly thinking about my clients, the work I had to leave behind, my Twitter inbounds. I didn't enjoy not being able to edit, workout and level up in life.
then I came across this quote "Under peaceful conditions, the warlike man attacks himself" By Friedrich Nietzsche
Maybe I’m not addicted to work, but to progress, pushing forward, building momentum, becoming stronger.

@killafx1 PPL is still a solid choice, I was following it too! But I switched to a 5-day split two weeks ago. Which one do you think is better? Your physique is amazing, so I’m sure you know best!

You are missing out on HUGE benefits if you are not working out!
If you are an editor and you're not working out, here are 5 main benefits of working out as a video editor:
1. Reduced Body Pain & Injury Prevention🎯
- Long hours of editing = bad posture → back, neck, wrist pain.
- Exercise strengthens core, back, and shoulders, reducing pain from sitting.
2. Hugely Improved Focus🧠
- Regular physical activity boosts cognitive function, memory, and focus → better attention during detailed editing work.
- Working out helps reduce brain fog after long hours of screen time.
3. Boosted Creativity 🎨
- Physical activity has been shown to spark creative thinking.
- Breaks for exercise can lead to creative breakthroughs.
4. Increased Energy ⚡
- Sedentary work can make you feel sluggish.
- Regular workouts boost your overall energy, helping you sustain long editing sessions without fatigue.
5. Improved Sleep Quality💤
- Consistent workouts improve sleep, helping your brain recover and reset.
- Better sleep = better focus
Even short 15-30 minutes workouts can deliver massive benefits without eating a huge chunk of your time.
