A huge Chinese embassy in London with massive security implications gets the green light. A huge Chinese investment in the Highlands of Scotland creating 1500 jobs gets blocked by the UK government. Better together? bbc.com/news/articles/…

Fuck Scotland’s only refinery, but an English snooker hall, that’s a different story. Boot these colonialist cunts out in May. These thieves are asset-stripping Scotland and are our political enemies. They can’t be trusted under any circumstances. Independence is essential.

Dear Sir...my neighbour who has a much bigger house than me takes my weekly wage and gives me back just enough to live on. He has tapped into my electricity, gas and water supply, syphons oil from my tank and stores dangerous weapons in my garden shed...should l be concerned...?

1. SNPers & Scot Nats frequently make this claim, and have written articles etc. saying so 2. I never said the Crowns became one in 1603. The Union of the Crowns refers to the crowns being united under one person. It's a well-established term. 3. I merely said the Scots were the first to call for union (1689 & 1690s). I made no comment about the later politics behind the union. You have read far too much into my post and interpreted those basic facts in a way that was not intended. PS: I'm a former Council member of the Royal Stuart Society, to which I've belonged for 30+ years. I do know something about this subject.

Today (24 March) is the anniv. of the Union of the Scottish & English Crowns in 1603, when James VI of Scotland also became King James I of England (France and Ireland) Never forget: Scotland wasn't colonised by England (as the SNP claim) It was a Scottish king who united the Crowns in 1603 and it was Scotland that first called for a union with England (1690s), resulting in the Act of Union in 1707, which created Great Britain and a single parliament. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

BBC Scotland indulged Anas Sarwar's baseless Queen Elizabeth Hospital smears against SNP ministers, running an effective smear campaign for the Scottish Labour leader that went on for months. Confirmation that it was all made up drivel has been dropped after just one day.

43% of Scottish pupils need extra support. The SNP cut it anyway. Scottish Labour will fund 1,500 more classroom assistants - including 300 for ASN - so no child is left behind. The choice in May: more of the same, or a better future for our kids.

Spain just boasted that because of their investment in renewable energy last week a mega watt hour of electricity just cost €14.Scotland also invested in renewable energy, but last week it cost us €158 for a MWH of electricity. That's because Westminster set our energy policies

The difference between the SNP and the Unionist campaigns is simple. The SNP offer a route to full control of Scotland's economy, resources and international relations. The Unionist campaigns are solely on the premise that they can divvy up the block grant better than the others.
