The root cause of Andrew Tate is a school system that demonises healthy male traits. Humans are biologically programmed to seek status. Cultures shape these behaviours: but males consistently pursue wealth, physical strength and influence because they're always objectively useful assets. Young men need positive role models that can teach them how to build wealth, strength and authority in a healthy, prosocial manner. Eg. 'Build products and services that solve problems and help your local community.' But schools and the ideological extremists who dominate the teaching profession demonise the pursuit of wealth, strength and authority. They prioritise their rejection of capitalism over and above the wellbeing of young boys who would benefit from exposure to business and entrepreneurship. Gangs and Andrew Tate have stepped in to fill that gap. I despise Andrew Tate and the misogynistic crap that he poisons young men (and hurts women) with. But I sympathise with young boys who are gaslit by the school system and told they're 'broken' — simply because they don't want to be weak, poor or the target of bullies. Young men deserve far better role models.
