#WATCH | Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: A married Indian Navy staff kills his woman friend, chops her body into two parts and stores it in a refrigerator, in the Gajuwaka area Gajuwaka CI Pardhasardhi says," Ravindra (35), an employee of the Indian Navy, resides in an apartment in L.V. Nagar, Visakhapatnam. His wife had gone to her parents' home in Vizianagaram a month ago to give birth. During this period, Ravindra invited Monica, a woman from Visakhapatnam with whom he had prior acquaintance, to his home. Consequently, she visited his flat on Sunday afternoon. The two engaged in a conversation for some time; however, a dispute subsequently arose between Monica and Ravindra. Ultimately, Ravindra brutally murdered Monica. He then severed the body into two parts, placing one half inside the refrigerator and concealing the other half in a gunny bag. After storing the body parts, he proceeded to the police station, recounted the entire sequence of events, and surrendered himself to the authorities. The police subsequently took him to the crime scene, where the body parts were recovered from the refrigerator. The accused, Ravindra, confessed to the police that he committed the murder because Monica frequently harassed him for money. Case registered." (Visuals of the arrested accused)
