Enjoy continuous learning. Curiosity is the biggest trait you can instill in someone. Like a smart person once said "stay hungry, stay foolish".

@RKela I just shared the Paul Maritz video with my current team talking about “give more than you take”. It was a special place, no doubt

I have to be honest ... Working at Pivotal Labs in its hey day - pre VMware - felt like a cult. There are a few things that did stick - A big part of the culture was "Do the right thing. Do what works. Be kind." I think that is spot on!

@Tesla - very frustrating experience with ordering a wall charger. FedEx loses the order, been 10 days since I placed the order. Now Tesla tells me to submit a claim and FedEx tells me that Tesla needs to submit a claim so I can get a replacement ordered.

@H20nly It was a pleasure to know you Scottie. I wish we had spent more time working on things together. But it’s a small 🌎 and wish you much success. You are a legend.

After 9.5 years, I just closed my VMware laptop for the final time. It has truly been a life changing experience. While I’m really excited for my next chapter, tonight I raise a glass in salute of all my colleagues & thank you for the support you’ve given me on my journey. 🥃

Last 12 months have been crazy - went from decomposing monoliths to running full on sales GTM campaigns for 10K accounts - growth hacking GCP

@JordanRinke Exciting. Can you also please include what it meant for agility and ability to run experiments for developers?

Should I submit a kubecon talk about how Walmart runs 4000+ edge clusters and hundreds of very large cloud clusters using all the same ci/cd pipeline and tooling so it’s transparent to the developer? Or what we learned scaling from 50 to 4000 clusters?

@ShridharSachin Hopefully all of them, used well! If I'm trying to build good software, my application runtime should make security easier, scale transparently, and support a streamlined path to production. A good managed k8s product should do all three.

I don't know what got into me, but I decided to review ALL the available configuration options when provisioning the three major Kubernetes services in the cloud: GKE, AKS, and EKS. tl;dr. GKE has 76 options, AKS has 33, and EKS has 33. seroter.com/2021/05/04/wha…

I woke up in just about worst rage I’ve ever felt in my life. I went to sleep wondering whether I would freeze to death, and woke up in my 30th hour without power. The failure of Texas’s leadership is total, inexcusable, and utterly catastrophic.
