We MUST change the stigma on Junior Colleges. These places offer tremendous opportunities for kids that not only prepare them a bit slower for independence that they aren’t ready for, but a successful stint at a JUCO can open so many doors and opportunities at colleges and universities that they never could consider out of HS! We need to separate ourselves from this 4-year school or bust mentality, as it sets so many young people up to fail. JUCOs are a fantastic way to start your college or trade school journey. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
