10-B Fact: While the Big Three are the only students in the third year shown so far, the rest of classes 30-A, 30-B, 20-A, and 20-B are going to be a mixture of Ben 10 characters, reshuffled MHA characters, and a few references and original characters as time goes on.
10-B Fact: I wasn't planning to redesign the characters of MHA originally, but when I started doing scenes with heroes, the females repeatedly had costumes that were too hard to remember off the top of my head. When the feedback came in, I made it a policy to redesign everything.
From what I can tell from the answers, it seems like aliens in Ben 10 is enjoyed for diversity in the hero genre and greater context to Ben's powers, but some people feel it's too much lore without enough payoff.
And no, I'm not doing space stuff in 10-B. I was just curious.
@mariiboops Even without aliens there were a good chuck of stories in the shows that didn't focus solely on aliens. So if they expanded into even more isolated stories like magic, the supernatural, or more government issues. I think that would be a cool show to watch
Fun Fact: The lines on the grey parts of the Omnitrix face in 10-B were originally there when I planned to make the comic black and white in order to show it was grey. When I switched to color, I kept them on because it gave Izuku's watch a uniquely identifiable trait.
Fun Fact: My art style was based primarily on the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker when I started on Flipnote Hatena 16 years ago. Since I started as an animator over a comic artist, most of the decisions I've made artistically are for the sake of speed over quality.
