A little BTS from my CINCH Paper Clips film for the #RunwayBigAdContest 🚀 I had about 2 days to make this, plus a few extra hours thanks to the very generous extension by @runwayml. I learned so much in such a short time, and honestly got really inspired seeing everyone’s wildly different creative takes on the products. Thought I’d share a bit of the process behind this one. 👇

Tried a couple of limited-edition directions to see how far the brand could stretch without losing its core feel. A sakura version and a Christmas version.

Started with a simple prompt for a matcha tin and ended up building a whole little brand world around it. Tried exploring logo directions, packaging, gift sets, campaign-style visuals, and seasonal editions like sakura and Christmas while keeping the whole thing calm, tactile, and premium. This was more of a design play than a pure image exercise, and I really enjoyed seeing how far one product idea could stretch while still feeling like the same brand. Then I tried expanding it into more of a product world through the ritual set, packaging direction, and gift-style presentation.

Started by figuring out the visual identity first: logo, mascot, tone, and the overall feel of the brand.

Also tried generating a poster for this piece. Really surprised by how versatile Nano Banana can be when pushed in different directions.

Some of my favorite frames from the piece. I was really trying to push drama, and style language here.

Made a small AI mythology piece inspired by the Pashupatastra from the Mahabharata. Mainly used this to test style, scale, energy, camera angles, and character consistency in a more graphic 2D look. Definitely a tricky one, but a fun experiment. Also made both English and Hindi versions with @ElevenLabs. I think the Hindi version carries the mood a little better. #Mythology #Mahabharata

The final stretch was all about execution: Runway video generations, edit decisions, and then ElevenLabs for music, SFX, and voice. A slightly chaotic process, but such a fun one to make and learn from. Full film here: x.com/magicatastroph… @runwayml #RunwayBigAdContest

Music prompt was basically: @ElevenLabs “premium retro-futurist commercial music, steady stylish groove, warm bass, space-age synth textures, slightly more intensity during chaos, polished finish, catchy but restrained, no full lyrics.” Wild how much you learn just by making and shipping.
