I am excited to share that I will be the PA announcer on August 31st for Michigan Football’s season opener v. Fresno State filling in for Carl Grapentine. I will handle all of the football game action. I attended my first Michigan Football game back in November of 1986. I remember hearing Howard King on the PA that day. I’ve been to countless games since that time and have been just as fond of Carl who took over for King in 2006. I always had a dream of how cool it would be to be a PA announcer at a Michigan Football game. Never, though, did I think though that I would have that chance. Yet 38 years later, that dream becomes a reality. The game is at 7:30 is televised on NBC. Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me throughout the years. Thank you to Jake Stocker for believing in me and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you to Wayne R. Welton for getting me started in Chelsea and for the recommendation at Michigan 11 years ago. I can’t wait to welcome the defending National Champions back to the field next Saturday. Forever, GO BLUE!
