So. Had my first appt with the oncologist yesterday. Stage 4 metastatic cancer, incurable, average life expectancy 2-3 years. Not the news I wanted. Their hope is to do chemo before any surgery to try and shrink the tumor and best case scenario, manage this as a chronic condition. I’m crushed and sick to my stomach at the thought of leaving Jake. He would be heartbroken without me here.

Percentages make no sense for tipping.
I go to a restaurant and order a $20 steak. Guy at the table next to me orders a $100 steak.
If I tip $5 I’m considered a great tipper, but he’s expected to tip at least $20.
Why? The server literally did the same amount of work!

Hey everyone, I have been in mental breakdown past two days and finally to calm myself down. I never cried too hard in my life.
Many of you knew me as the guy who turned $300 into $200,000–$300,000 in just a few months trading $SPY.
Lately there’s been a lot of positive and negative noise around me, but today hit the hardest. My biggest mistake was pure ignorance and sizing way too big despite solid advice from experienced traders here. I ignored it at times, and today I paid the full price for it.
To be honest, I’m left with $10,000. It’s only April, with 8 months left in 2026. I’m determined to build it back up.
This lesson will stay with me forever. To all the traders out there: please use my story as a warning. Don’t be like me, control your emotions and your size.
And I will continue to post about $SPY and others, I deeply appreciate every single one of you on here.🙇♂️

WTI = May front month. Brent already rolled to June.
Apples to oranges.
This is known as the roll trap. June/June? Brent still holds premium.
BUT the compression is REAL:
• Hormuz choke = seaborne crude at risk
• WTI (Cushing/Gulf) = accessible, exportable, safe supply
• Buyers rotating INTO WTI as the safe deliverable benchmark
• WTI backwardation at RECORD levels (backwardation = spot price higher than future price — market paying up for barrels RIGHT NOW)
Deferred curve tells the other story. Brent Dec ’26 ~$79. WTI mid-$70s. Both benchmarks still pricing this as a SHOCK — not a structural reset.
Front end on fire. Back end pricing resolution.
