A 21-year-old Pattaya man says a woman who claimed she was single invited him to her home to “see her cat.”
Inside, her boyfriend suddenly returned, choked and beat him unconscious, shouting “This is a civil servant’s house.”
The victim was hospitalized and filed a police report.
The boyfriend accused him of trespassing.
Police are investigating.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung posted a message on the X application about a telephone conversation with Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul on October 16, stating that:
"Thailand is our friendly nation that was among the first countries to decide to send forces to join the Korean War, and today Thailand remains our strategic partner with close cooperation, whether it be cooperation in ASEAN, APEC, or other multilateral forums.
In addition, Thailand is one of the most visited tourist destinations for Korean people, and we are familiar with each other due to the presence of Thai members in several K-pop groups.
Prime Minister Anutin and I exchanged various views and see that we still have much potential to develop further cooperation, especially regarding the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. We will both make every effort to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
