@maxplayscfb How are you exporting data from the game? I have some data sets of 3 stars from my own research if you want some more.

finally had time to sit down and look at skill caps. some thoughts: - dev traits are correlated w/ skill caps - but star status is the REAL driver - impact to overall varies by skill category for different archetypes (catching matters more for some WRs than others) (1/2)

(2/2) - 3-star gems are still fine. yes, they have worse skill caps than most 4 stars, but 70% of ANY 3 stars can get to 90+ ovr based on skill caps alone if you only look at impact/star/elite, it's even higher. full thoughts here: youtu.be/XcqOg5Ecivo

@maxplayscfb I think we enjoy it because you are raw and honest about how/why you play the way you do. You don’t exploit things, you use you data, logic, and your style of presentation doesn’t sensationalize things. You’re a breathe of fresh air in a saturated space that could use maturity.

i have spent the last ~2 years trying to have as much fun on CFB as possible, & hopefully help others along the way - it's not 'flashy' growth, but my goal is to build a brand that people trust. it is SICK to see viewers respond better purely because they know it's me

I don’t think this is a bad thing, necessarily. It’s probably better to err on the side of simplicity than the other way around But MAN I just wish there were a few more “knobs” that people had to consider when it comes to roster management for dynasty

Biggest takeaway from 2 years of CFB experiments: When you think EA is deciding between 2 methods, they are always doing the *simpler* method. Whether it’s: * team ovr calculations * visit logic * attribute generation for recruits * dev traits Seems to occur every time tbh

@MillsTwitch Very biased but the Max Plays CFB playbook is interesting: * spread heavy * only 1 wide set * simple run game (option, zone, dive) * lots of room for creativity w/ pass catching RBs/TEs * a tiny tad of single back/Iform for short yard situations

Need a fun offensive playbook for Dynasty play in College Football 26. Only restriction: No Wide (can be in there, but can't be the focus of the offense). What do you like to run?

@P4RKEST Gut feeling is that the impact of a “competitive” visit is <20% of the impact of actually winning In other words, if you need to maximize the players landed, I’d for sure do 2-3 comp visits at 70-90% effectiveness NOW than potentially lose one of those guys due to a lack of visit

@maxplayscfb Ran into a snafu today, do I schedule competitive visits (multiple o-linemen) to try and get more transfers, or do I try and one at a time to have a stronger impact. Made me think, one thing I don't belive I've seen anyone test is the impact of competitive visits.
