@ABritishCorvid @cfdownes_ Ah. Deportations blocked by the ECHR since 1980.....13. European Convention of Human Rights? Brought in 1950? Big participation by Mr Churchill? It's not just a name. Seriously I thought you had a bit about you...sadly wrong. Bye.

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ So you're just going to ignore the fact deportations of these evil bastards are being blocked by human rights lawyers fuelled by the echr? Btw. It is a court. It is not a human right. Its just a name.

@akilabruh2076 @cfdownes_ No I appreciate that. So how are these "floods of Africans" being protected by ECHR? Seriously, I'm not picking a fight, I'm just interested. We might not agree, but I think the world would be a better place if we actually listened to each other?

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ Kent, I won’t be more specific than that. If you want to run with the “we’ve always been flooded with Africans” lie, I remember from my own life that wasn’t true even 2 decades ago.

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ Legally fictioned foreigners either way, my town’s been flooded with Africans & they just need stripping of said fiction prior to deportation. The British people’s homeland is owned by the British only, everyone else is a guest. Articles 5, 8 & 14 are issues in a large way.

@ABritishCorvid @cfdownes_ He was technically a Welsh citizen, but I think we all can agree that something in that young man was extremely wrong. It doesn't matter what your politics are, that's a given. But I think you are wrong that there is an overwhelming evidence against, let's say ECHR?

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ ...... Max... I did not mention the other acts because there is very public very overwhelming evidence that damns them. It would take extreme bad faith at this point to not understand what i am referring to. This individual is considered a Welsh Citizen.

@akilabruh2076 @cfdownes_ It gives rights to all. What specific rights are you worried about regarding foreigners? Are we talking about immigrants or people who have been given the right to be here?

@AnEnglishName1 @cfdownes_ And also in the East Midlands and the south/south east? Would you be happy to have your local area "fracked"? " Climate scam" and " not the Brexit we voted for"....please elaborate

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ You can only frack where the resource is, that is mainly in the North West. We haven't had the Brexit we voted for. Climate scam you mean.

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ Forces the uk to bear the burden of foreigners as if they should have the same rights in the UK as a British person. The real kind, not a legally fictioned foreigner.

@akilabruh2076 @cfdownes_ You do realise the ECHR was brought in , in 1950? How does it provide special treatment and charity to foreigners?

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ Because British people already had rights, it’s not on us to ensure foreigners get special treatment here. I want a country, not a charity.

@ABritishCorvid @cfdownes_ I have heard criticism of the Online Safety Act, which I will look into. Lol not saying you are right! But the others? Being used to defend "psychopathic evil people"? What facts are you basing that claim on? I'm interested to see that.

@maxribbs @cfdownes_ The other subjects should go well without saying. But i can elaborate on those too if needed. They exploit human rights by constantly being used to defend psychopathic evil people. They defend the people who hate us.

@Traceybattleaxe @maxribbs @cfdownes_ The British Bill of Rights would be a narrower, more British-focused version of human rights law. It would keep core protections but significantly reduce the ability of individuals to use human rights claims to block government policy on immigration, crime, and national security.

@NorthernEye07 @cfdownes_ I didn't accuse you of anything. You stated "women would destroy civilisation as they are easily manipulated" And as for the rest of your post....nasty drivel based on zero facts. And you still haven't answered my question? I don't think I'm the one being manipulated here.

You commented on my reply accusing me of being against women. Which bit did you disagrwe with? Do you have a problem with the government hanging rapists? I hate to inform you, but Men rarely get raped. The party you support would release a foreign rapist if he was to rape you or a family member. I would prefer him being put to death.

Billionaire Reform UK donor Ben Delo is overreaching with this legal threat because he is using UK privacy laws and data protection rules to pressure platforms like @X and Substack into removing accurate public references to his spent criminal conviction. The letter claims that his guilty plea for failing to maintain proper anti-money laundering controls at the huge crypto exchange BitMEX has become part of his private life under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights - the same ECHR that Reform wants to leave! The letter argues that there is no public interest in discussing the matter and that publishing it violates his rights under the UK GDPR. Yet this conviction was a major case involving a platform that handled trillions of dollars and carried real risks of facilitating illicit finance. Delo paid a ten-million-dollar fine and received probation after pleading guilty in the United States. Even though Trump pardoned him in 2025, the pardon does not wipe away the historical facts or the court records, and it has no automatic effect on how UK law treats public discussion of the events. Now that Delo is giving more than £4 MILLION to Reform UK, planning to move back to Britain, and funding political projects while presenting himself as a champion of free speech, the public has a clear and legitimate interest in knowing about his past. When someone with that kind of money and influence steps into politics and policy debates in a democracy, their background becomes highly relevant for transparency and accountability. Through his project called The Sanctuary (a suite of rooms overlooking Westminster Abbey) he provides free meeting space, catering, podcasting facilities, and networking opportunities specifically to groups and individuals who rail against impositions on free speech and political correctness, including the Triggernometry podcast, Restore Britain, and Advance UK. He has also funded Toby Young's Free Speech Union and is hailed by some as a free speech hero for creating this ecosystem where controversial views can be expressed openly! The law never intended the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act to let wealthy individuals airbrush verifiable public records from the internet whenever it suits them. This kind of threat exploits burdensome data protection rules to create a chilling effect on open discussion, and it goes far beyond what courts have allowed in similar cases, such as the Google delisting rulings. The move is particularly hypocritical because Delo has positioned himself and his donations as support for Reform UK, a party that loudly champions free speech and rails against government overreach and regulation. He talks about fighting bureaucratic tyranny and defending liberty, yet he is now deploying the very same complex privacy laws that critics say stifle expression to suppress factual information about himself! At The Sanctuary, he actively enables others to speak out against restrictions on speech while simultaneously sending lawyers’ letters to silence discussion of his own regulatory conviction. True advocates for free speech accept that uncomfortable truths about their own history can be discussed openly, instead of trying to silence them with legal threats. By doing this, Delo undermines the very principles he claims to support through his philanthropy and political funding and reveals a clear double standard: free speech is for everyone else, but not when it applies to his own record.

Wow. I’ve just received a threatening letter from Ben Delo’s solicitors Addleshaw Goddard. They are claiming, among other things, that it is unlawful to publish information about Delo’s conviction for an anti-money laundering offence in the US. They also say I cannot publish their letter. An extract is below. Is Delo going to get his solicitors to threaten everyone who mentions his conviction? How is this not a SLAPP? @sra_solicitors @DanNeidle

Israel admitted bombing A WEDDING in Gaza City yesterday. They murdered 7 people inc a 4 month old baby. You won't hear about this on any news station, because they're Palestinians and Israel did it. If an Israeli wedding was bombed you'd know their names, faces and stories.

We’re witnessing how damaging it is for women to be in public spheres. Female judges allowing murders to go free. Female congresswomen turning vicious and promiscuous. Female influencers promoting careers for women and becoming destructive. Female preachers promoting all kinds of unbiblical garbage. Female voters overwhelmingly voting for Democrats and abortion. 💔 Go home, women. 🙏🏻
