Chiaramente, non sono mancate le reazioni in qualche caso ironiche e in altre piccate dei cosiddetti “dipendenti dello stato”, che hanno portato in dote all’ITALIA 70 medaglie nelle ultime due edizioni dei Giochi Olimpici, senza contare i successi nei rispettivi circuiti di Coppa del Mondo e nei Campionati Mondiali. Gli interventi di tanti campioni dello sport si sono susseguiti senza soluzione di continuità. Tra i tanti, si possono ricordare Tommaso Marini, Mattia Furlani, Pietro Sighel, Tommaso Giacomel, Luigi Busà, Arianna Fontana, Stefano Oppo, Daniele Di Stefano, Andrea Dallavalle, Mattia Casse, Iliass Aouani, Riccardo Orsoni e Irma Testa. Con tutto il rispetto per l’attuale Presidente non ancora dimissionario, ma con le ore contate, lo scaricabarile andato in scena nelle scorse ore non può essere accettato supinamente e tanto meno l’ingiustificato vittimismo volto a tirare in ballo il mancato appoggio delle istituzioni e gli altri sport avvantaggiati dal sistema. Perché non si vive la medesima situazione in Francia, Inghilterra, Spagna e Germania, Paesi con leghe nazionali del medesimo valore di quella italiana se non più forti e ingombranti? Come auspicato da tanti, ci sarebbe bisogno di una rifondazione, che parta dai vertici della federazione, ma siamo sicuri che si tratti della reale volontà del calcio italiano? Non resta che sedersi lungo la riva del fiume e attendere.

Ten-year gilt yields have hit levels not seen since 2008. The Bank of England is frozen at 3.75 percent, unable to cut into an energy-driven inflation rebound. Starmer says he “won’t buckle” and will not send warships. Trump says the UK has “delayed courage.” The special relationship is now a transaction where one side sets the terms and the other absorbs the cost. “The U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us.” This is not a statement about Iran. This is a statement about the post-war order. The United States is explicitly telling its closest ally that the era of guaranteed security is over, that Hormuz is someone else’s problem, and that American fuel is available for purchase at market rates. The strait was open before the war. It is closed now. And the country that closed it is selling jet fuel to the countries that cannot get any.
