“The casting for the role of Nagi Seishiro was so difficult that we decided to ask Nagi Seishiro himself to take it on.* That's how much we couldn't imagine anyone other than K for it.
He seemed worried about his lack of acting experience, but when I saw his actual performance, he expressed not only the appeal of soccer but also the subtle nuances of delicate emotions with such care and sincerity that I felt it was truly the right choice to entrust Nagi to him.
