Honestly, watching Canada become a totalitarian wasteland has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. I'm not sure my heart will ever really recover. To watch something as beautiful as Canada was, become what Canada is, has been horrible.

I’m right there with you. I’m actually mourning my country. The reality is that the Canada of my youth is just gone and what’s left of it is common in name only. Hubby and I are actively working towards leaving, and no not to the US. We are going to a small non western country where we will work hard to assimilate into a new home that seems to have some of the core family and social values we miss from this country. Will be closely watching to see what’s next for the west in these ever changing and scary times…
