@dailyceladon I honestly don't put any weight on Genshin's eye design, because there hasn't ever been any real design thread. Pupils have had so many different forms regardless of their owner being human, god, or something else. The only exception was some Khaenri'ahn eyes.

'pretty or ugly' aside, dottores design is better bc you can actually tell what he's supposed to be from his design alone (scientist, related to crows, sumeru ties) which is a very important aspect in character design that remielle lacks. i have no idea whats she supposed to be +

@ColorMarked That being said, as others have pointed out, this is only user submitted data, the vast majority of players don't do that, so the actual holding rate will be significantly higher.

@ColorMarked They did their usual gamble of betting on people loving him as a character pulling on his initial run despite the vast drawbacks he has gameplay wise (team needs+future new reaction) and lost the gamble. Because it worked with Varka, they got too greedy again.

Sometimes I forget that not everyone is obsessed with Lohen, and him not being meta means that only a small percentage actually pulled. Like wdym you didn’t skip one of the games new best supports to save for a mid af dps??

@Marcodmeatball Very fair, and very healthy! For me the one game I'm still spending on is Genshin, but I have reduced it much from my previous whaling. It helps if you keep a certain amount of animosity on how the gacha developers have implemented friction in their game to reframe from spending.

Honestly the reason I don't talk about gacha games as much anymore is because I like getting new characters. I like building characters, and I also easily slip into spending money. Now obviously, music is a big part of my life. I enjoy talking about all game music from so many games. The problem with gacha games is the music is genuinely so polished, it makes me want to check out the games. Wuthering waves and ZZZ have my favorite gameplay but even ZZZ I just can't with the rates and the double 50/50. So, wuwa is what I play because I enjoy the total package and the friction is less severe for me. I can't just play these games because I fall into spending. Which is why I focus so much on wuwa. Because it's the one I like the most. So, spending feels fine to me and it's less prohibitive without the weapon gacha system. So, if you're wondering why I don't talk about arknights or genshin or hsr or zzz or Nikke it's simply because I'm protecting myself. I think that's fair.

@dlml__ I don't know about why the original VAs got replaced, but those statements are definitely due to the big backlash from the VA work refusals and what happened last year when a VA was replaced.

The fact the new voice actors had to make a statement in their announcement posts addressing that they are not trying to replace the old VAs is... Sad... And some of them being scared of the announcement? What are we even doing as a fandom
