Unfortunately this is not a new tactic. Most of the horrific destruction in South Lebanon was done during the ceasefire. They razed whole villages to the ground, like Ramyeh, Maroun al Ras, Chemaac Muhabib, Marwahin and several others. At one point while Aitaroun was still half occupied, I was able to go in to the certain point to take footage. Many buildings were still standing. Two weeks later when the town was liberated, the buildings were gone. This ethnic cleansing campaign started a long time ago and now it seems to be accelerating.
