@Megatron_ron there are other ways to solve the issue… eg, a fairer monetary system where the currencies of trade surplus countries appreciate to reduce / eliminate trade surpluses. Let China be mercantilist if it wants to but don’t let China dump on the world, among other solutions

NEW:
🇩🇪🇨🇳 German Chancellor Merz says Germans need to work more in order to match China:
“We are simply no longer productive enough. Each individual may say, “I already do quite a lot.” And that may be true.
But when you return from China, ladies and gentlemen, you see things more clearly.
With work-life balance and a four-day week, long-term prosperity in our country cannot be maintained. We will simply have to do a bit more.”

@AstroCryptoGuru Yes sad to see, world switching from dollar to hard assets and it's bad not just for us but influence whole world. Just hope for no more war conflicts.

@BennMaldonado I feel we need checks and balances on self-interest… All too many politicians and leaders will choose self-interest over public interest when conflicted.

@BennMaldonado we all love climbing the ladder… but how many of us feel as good about taking a hit and giving up the privileges that were previously handed to us in that “meritocracy”. Who enjoys being derunged and will accept it?

Many of the contentious issues in society today can trace their heritage to the insidious "Everyone gets a trophy" mantra that was shoved down people's throats starting 20+ years ago in kids' sports. "Don't keep score, it will hurt a kid's feelings if they lose" or "Everyone is a winner, so that no one feels bad" is how they tried to silence dissent. As if being talented or trying to get better and competing was bullying others who didn't have the skill or the desire to put in the work to improve. In retrospect, it was an opening stealth attack on meritocracy, hard work, and our societal organizing principle of competitive capitalism. Today we see the propagation of socialist and communist rhetoric (see NY mayor's race), demonizing capitalism and private ownership of assets. A shocking percentage of young people, who were fed this "Everyone gets a trophy" pablum, support these positions. The lesson here is to oppose any initiative that seeks to vilify or eliminate personal responsibility/accomplishment and competition, in the name of being caring, empathetic, inclusive and just. It's nothing more than the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing coming for your individual rights and freedoms in the name of the collective good.

I have been doing 18-20 hour intermitent fasting each day for over a year now. The 3 day fast is the longest I have ever done. Going to bed really early was helpful.

HODL-ing altcoins in downtrends is very risky, even good projects.
Ran describes the issue like this.
I see some replies disagreeing with the description.
I don't have a clear picture yet.
