I followed every rule. Lost 16 months of work. Received no handouts. Got my second dose today, and am now fully vaccinated. But I still can’t go to Nova Scotia...

Canada as a whole is 75% vaccinated (20% with both doses) with only 10k active cases across the country. Among all that good news, 2 of 3 smallest provinces, with only ~110 cases between them, cannot agree on whether their residents are allowed to see each other.

NS Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Robert Strang says a couple of people now in hospital with COVID, “went out to celebrate” after getting a first dose of vaccine. He says immunity takes at least two weeks to develop. @CTVAtlantic
